Location Settings

Solution

This Help Desk guide will give abried explaination of what each field in the Location Settings page.

Static IP Address

If set, this will disallow Host-level users from accessing LilYPad from outside the facility. (Only set if using a Static IP addres from Internet Provider).

Sales Tax Number

Enter a sales tax registration number to display on receipts.

Employees: Admin only?

This determines whether the Admin>Employees tab will be visible only to users with Admin permissions.

Suppliers: Admin only?

This determines whether the Admin>Suppliers tab will be visible only to users with Admin permissions.

Reports: Admin only?

This determines whether the Admin>Reports tab will be visible only to users with Admin permissions.

Show Pie Chart?

This determines if the Pie Chart will be visible in the Daily Summary Report.

Default Deposit Amount

Set the deposit amount that will automatically appear when making a sale that requires a deposit.

Allow Sale Notes?

This determines if you can add notes to a sale from the Payment Details screen.

Allow Sale Tip?

This determines if you can add a tip to a sale from the Payment Details screen.

4 Decimal Place Prices?

This allows the use of 4 decimals places for product prices; this is useful for prices that include sales tax.

Edit Sales In Calendar?

This option allows a user to edit a sale that is selected on the Calendar page.

Host Can Give Discount?

Allows Host level users to give discounts.

Host Can Sell Parties?

Allows Host level users to sell party products.

Print Bands & Receipt?

This will automatically prompt user to print receipt after wristbands are printed.

Sensitive Party Date?

Turn this option on if your party packages have different pricing on weekends. If this option is used in combination with the party package “Name” field which must contain one of the following naming conventions: “Weekend” or “W/E”.

Sort Calendar by Room?

This determines order parties are sorted on the calendar. If enabled, the party bookings are sorted first by room, then by start time.

Time Clock Password?

If turned on, this will only let the logged in user to clock in and out from the Time Clock page.

On-line Lead Time

The number of buffer days required for online party bookings.

Zero Dollar Cash Sale?

This determines if sales of $0.00 can be processed.

Bar Code Sales Search?

This turns on the feature that allows you to scan a wristband’s bar code to automatically open a sale.

Auto Delete Occupants?

If you are tracking occupancy by wristband, this will determine that when a party sale is paid in full, these occupants are either automatically deleted from the occupancy counter or they will need to be manually scanned out.

Is Friday a Weekend?

This determines if Friday will be grouped with weekdays/weekends (Handy for setting Party Room times and weekday/weekend pricing).

Photo with Memberships?

This allows a photo to be attached to membership records.

End Time on Wristband?

If printing wristbands from LilYPad and using time-based trackers, this setting will display the ticket’s end time in large, bold numbers.

Party Invite?

When a customer books online, this determines if a party invite email will be sent to the customer and if the “party invite” option will appear in the calendar. Whenever you email a receipt, it also emails the party invitation with this setting on.

Show Extra Kids?

This is a minor adjustment to when viewing a party sale. If turned on, the sales screen will display the extra kids and the amount charged.

Time Clock Closeout Rpt?

This will make the closeout report available for Host level users from the Time Clock page.

Open Discount Amount?

This allows a user to enter any discount amount rather than selecting from a list of pre-set amounts.

Single Payment Button?

*required for integrated credit card processing* This will determine if the various payment options will show on the main sale tab or on a separate screen.

Anyone Can Edit Sale?

This allows a Host level user to modify a sale.

Ask For Referral Source?

This allows a user to enter how they were referred to the facility.

Ask For Customer Details?

This allows a user to enter customer’s name and email into Payment Details page. This gets added to the Customer page.

Remove Tax From Sale?

This allows a Manager/Administrator level user to remove tax from a sale.

Use Admission Timer?

This enables the use of “Timed Admission” feature. This feature allows you to start a timer when a customer arrives in order to track the amount of time they are at the facility.

Time Clock Decimal Hours?

This is an option to display hours worked on time clock report as decimal instead of minute value. Ex. 4.25 OR 4:15

Hide Time Clock?

Allows you to hide the Time Clock.

Cash Drawer For Host?

This setting will allow/disallow Host-level users acces to the Cash Drawer button.
