How to Make a Split Payment

This article will guide you on how to make a split payment using multiple payment methods.

1. To make a Split Payment on a Product, first add the Product to the Sale and select Pay Now.
   
   

NOTE: For this example, we will be paying with cash and a gift card.

2. You will then be brought to the Payment Type page where you will select the Cash button.
   
   

NOTE: when entering in the amount for Cash, make sure the Payment Amount and Cash Received fields match the amount that was given by the Customer.

3. Enter in the cash that was received and select Add Payment.
   
   
   
   
4. You will now be prompted enter in the remainder of the payment with the method of your choosing; in this case, select the Gift Card button.
   
   
   
   
5. You will then be asked to put in the gift card number and select Add Payment.
   
   
   
   
6. If the amount on the gift card is sufficient, you will be brought to the last stage of the payment process. For this example, we selected Print Receipt.
