This article will help guide you through resetting both the 2824+ and ZD410 wristband printers to factory settings.

This should only be done when all other troubleshooting steps have been performed as this will wipe any settings configured such as darkness or IP addresses for network printers.

WARNING: The steps provided are unofficial and should be done at your own risk. Please contact Zebra support if you have any questions or concerns.

2824+ Wristband Printer

1. Press and hold the button located on the top of the printer for 4 flashes (Note: the light will flash in sequence while the button is held down).
2. The printer will reboot itself and you should notice the light turn red then back to green when finished booting.
3. *OPTIONAL* Set the darkness by pressing and holding the button located on the top of the printer for 6 flashes.

ZD410 Wristband Printer

1. Turn OFF the printer
2. Press and hold the Pause + Feed buttons while turning ON the printer
3. Continue holding the Pause + Feed buttons until the the Status indicator is lit.
