This tutorial will provide a brief overview of how to set up wristband printers using LilYPad POS Software. This tutorial is specifically for the Zebra Wristband Printer model 2824 + and ZD410.
***NOTE: Please make sure your printer is turned off before you start this tutorial. Your printer should be plugged into a power outlet and the USB cable should be connected from the printer to the computer.
Installation
Configuration
NOTE: These are the default wristbands settings. They may vary depending on the size/manufacturer of your wristbands.
***NOTE: Before calibrating, make sure the status light on the printer is solid green.
***NOTE: If you are using the printer for multiple POS stations across the network then configuration and calibration must be done for each POS station. For installation, you will not have to install the Zebra Setup Utilities. Rather you will have to use Windows Add Printer option to install a printer over the network. Depending on how your network is set up, you will either be able to browse your network or type in the path to where it is located.
Network Setup (Optional)
NOTE:If unsuccessful, make sure your computer and printer are connected to the local network properly.
NOTE: If setting up multiple printers, select Add New Printer when prompted.
